We got ready quickly so we could eat breakfast together. I was curious to see who would be there for breakfast. Would I meet the rest of Torin’s family?
Would they like me?
What if they didn’t like me and they would convince Torin I wasn’t worth the effort? Because, let’s be honest, Torin has put a lot of time and effort into our friendship. And he will want something in return soon.
Dylan always said that men and women can’t be friends, and that’s why he had me avoid any men around me. Then I had to avoid women as well, because they would turn me against Dylan somehow.
Dylan started off nice, not as nice as Torin, but he was nice when we first met. Until he wasn’t.
Torin wouldn’t change like that… Would he? No… He’s different. He’s… well, he’s perfect. In every way.
