"Azlynd wake up" My mother Rosilie hollers up the stairs. I hear her pounding footsteps making their way up to my room. I roll over and switch my phone alarm off as she barges into my room. "Good morning sunshine" she purs. "Good morning momma" I smile at her as she climbs in my bed. "tomorow is your special day, your wolf will be able to sense your mate." she wraps her arm around me. I cant seem to find anything I want to wear, pushing my dresser drawer closed I turn and walk to my closet. mom walks over to the closet and grabs out my deep burgundy shaw and my black mid thigh length dress.

" I understand. Every change is unique. there's nothing I can do to prepare you that I haven't already done" She says handing me The dress and shaw. "what shoes should i wear" i ask her. She picks up my black knee high boots and I cannot help but laugh. I hang the dress back in my closet and go walk back to my dresser.

"hey that was a perfect outfit" she says.

"Mom that was ridiculous" I laugh while grabbing a pair of jeans and a black tank top. "Ill be downstairs" my mother said leaving me to get ready. I grab my clothes and go to take a shower. The water eases my soul. I finish my shower and get dressed. As I walk downstairs I smell something amazing. Stuffed pancakes. "My favorite" I smile running to the kitchen. My dad giving me the biggest hug. "I just want you to know how proud of you I am. You are so amazing" he says with tears in his eyes. "Are you getting soft on me sir" I joke back.

"No just emotional my daughter isn't a baby anymore" he chuckled flipping a pancake.

"who ever came up with these is a genius" I say grabbing a plate and taking 3 pancakes.

"they were high" my mom chimes in taking a seat next to me. "m*******a" my dad grins.

"Ill roll up" my moms chuckles and goes to grab the tray. She returned quickly and began to roll the perfect blunt.

A knock on the door interrupts our smoke session. My mother puts the tray away quickly. "Don't worry Ill get the door" I laugh. My dad laughs too and goes back to making stuffed pancakes. My heart begins to race suddenly. Im not sure why. I touch the door as the knock again. I open the door and to my surprise it was the triplets. Happy birthday" I smiled at them. "come in" my mother adds from behind. She always does that. "thank you" the boys all but purred stepping in. They are definitely some of my closest friends. We walk to the kitchen and greet my dad.

"happy birthday boys make yourself a plate" my dad says handing them plates. He made practically a buffet. He mustve known wed have company. We make plates and go sit in the living room. My parents don't follow us.

"we have something to tell you" Charles says sitting next to me. Alonzo sits on my other side. James is on the computer chair scooted in front of me. My heart begins to race all over again. "what is it" I ask standing up walking to the table. They looked at eachother most likely having a telepathic conversation. James lightly grabs my hand and pulls me toward the couch.

"The thing is... Today we all agreed we should tell you how we feel." Alonzo says as I sit down again. Hes clearly upset about something. All of them are.

"plane tickets" James said with his eyebrows arched.

" To the Maldive Islands" Charles says looking teary eyed.

"I thought you were saving for a new car" Alonzo says.

"I am saving for a car but its not everyday you become a king, or learn to rule." I say. James rushes to give me a hug.

"this is our dream place to visit." he held me tightly. My brother coughs in the hallway .

"happy birthday" spence says.

"I cant. I have things to do" I frown at the disappointed looks.

"Like finding your mate" My brother jokes unaware of what I was just told.

"yes" I sighed. James let out a low growl.

"No way" Spence gasps. Saved yet again my mother yells up the stairs.

"Ill be back right after class to grab somethings. I wont be back until early tomorrow morning." I let her know that I have plans.

"Will you be attending the ball tonight" Charles asks as we walk to our cars.

"Im a lead warrior its mandatory that I make an appearance." I say while opening my door. "Though it will not be a long moment at all. i assume you all plan on sneaking out early" I laugh sliding into my car. As I start my car and sync my bluetooth I get a text from James.
