I set my phone in the seat and speed over to Aylahs house. like I suspected I beat Ry. She pulls up right after me.

"I swear you cheat" she laughs as we walk inside. Ay meets us at the door with her hair up and half of her make up done.

"well what took you guys so long" she jokes.

"Ask her I got here first" I joke back elbowing Ry. We walk in and I set my dress, make up and jewelry down.

"let's match before we get ready" Ry says pulling out her bag of w**d.

"say less" I smile pulling out mine.

"perfect, tonight is going to be so great!" Aylah says. She is right tonight is going to be a game changer. My first shift. My mate(s). We smoke the blunts and slide our dresses on. Then begin our makeup. In what felt like the blink of an eye time passed and its now 9:10 pm.

"We need to leave or we'll miss the new kings being announced" Ry says sliding her rings on. Flipping her curled hair off of her shoulder. Aylah grabs her diamond necklace and her keys. "let's go" she squeals. I grab my rings and my keys and slide them on as we head downstairs and leave the house. We walk to our cars and I holler " last one there owes the first two breakfast in the morning" before taking off.

"let's race then" Ay yells as she climbs in her car and takes off with me. As predicted I was the first one there. Aylah and Ry are making jokes about who really pulled in last since we can't have a tie. As we walk into the packhouse we link hands. This time a wonderful scent hits my nose and a voice beings to fill my head. "mate" it cries out.

MATE I hear from across the room. I can't stop myself from moving toward the scent. I let go of the girls and walk dead into the triplets.

"MATE" We say in unison.

"I knew it" Alonzo says pulling me into a hug. My skin feels as if it's on fire. Charles pulls me in next. My skin still tingling. James pulls me in last sending an extra spark through my body. I'm at a loss for words right now. My shift hasn't even happened yet. My wolf is talking to me already. The girls walk up behind me and pull me in to a group hug. suddenly though I'm not thrilled. My visit with Savien keeps playing through my head.

I have to tell you something before you shift tonight

What could it have been. I need to see her before my shift. Could it have been me... James grabs my hand pulling me from my thoughts.

"mate" he says softly pulling me away from the crowd. His brothers following us.

"I have a bad feeling" I admit looking to Lonz. "Something feels off"

"what could feel off right now" James says as I pull my hand back from him.

"you're referring to the witch you met earlier" I hear their father say from behind me.

"sir I ....." I stammer my mind is blanking. "yes sir" I softly say.

"Young men I think we should have a talk but first you're about to be announced and are expected on stage. go" he says firmly. Stepping in front of me. Each of them looking to me. James steps between his father and I. "yes I seen the witch. we can all talk in the morning" I say grabbing James hand.

"fine let's go" king kyson says turning around. We make our way out to the ball room when Charles grabs my other hand and pulls me into his embrace. " I don't know what's going on but it will be okay I promise" he says softly. "we need to go" Alonzo says. He seems the most off right now.

"he's right it's 10 already we're up" Charles replies letting me go. James places a kiss on my head before they turn and walk away. I turn to find a great view when I almost bump into their mother. She gives me soft smile.

"sit with me" she smiles. "it would be an honor to sit with the next queen" she adds. my cheeks heat up.

"it would be an honor to sit with you your majesty." I all but purr myself. She has been so kind to me my whole life.

"then come please let's sit" she smiles and leads the way. wait shes going on stage. I stop at the stairs not sure if I should continue. She looks back to me and holds her hand out.

"please do come up" the king says stepping next to her also extending his hand. How can I say no to the king and queen of the freaking fae. I pick my dress up and take the queen's hand as she takes the kings. he steps to the middle of the stage as music begins to play. the queen and I stand slightly to the left and behind him as the triplets walk into the platform.

"welcome everyone" the king starts off. "tonight we here by announce James Charles and Alonzo as the kings and here by rulers of the Northern Fae" the crowd erupts in screams and applause as the new kings of the fae receive their rightful crowns. The queen grabs my hand and pulls me forward.

"wait" I whisper. she looks to me

"you were meant for this please do not be afraid" her words were so comforting. This is what I was meant for. It has to be or why else would the moon goddess bless me with the kings as mates. we are now standing next to the men. Kyson stands next to Hasley the queen. The whole room goes quiet as everyone spots me. I see my parents with tears in their eyes. The girls holding each other smiling at me. The kings look to me and take my hand pulling me to them. I do my best to look confident. I was meant for this... I keep repeating in my head.

"And today we were blessed with our mate" Alonzo begins speaking looking at me.

"we were blessed with a strong, brave, kind woman to announce as your queen" Charles joins.

"We here by announce to you the new queen of the Northern Fae " James finishes. Tears begin to fill my eyes as I see Hasley grab the queen's crown and walk over to me.

" I couldn't have chose a better woman to take over, I believe you will do great things for the fae. if anyone is capable it is you my dear" she says placing the crown upon my head. Gasps are heard through the crowd before another roar of applause erupts. James grabs my hand and leads me off of the stage pulling me with him as he leads the greet walk. everyone bows as we walk through.
