WHEN I got to Leo’s desk, I smiled at him and said “G-good afternoon, Mr. Montemayor.”
Leo: “Good afternoon, Ms. Valladolid. How are you this fine afternoon?”
Jessica: “I’m great. Especially after learning that my son is one of the top students in the class, and he’s even representing the class in the math competition.”
Leo: “Yeah, Jericho’s an outstanding student. Speaking of the competition, we should talk about the details.”
Jessica: “Oh. Uhm, if you’re not doing anything after this, we can go to a coffee shop and talk.”
Leo: “Well, as it turns out, I am completely free after this. Where do you want to go?”
Jessica: “Why don’t you choose?”
Leo: “Can we meet in twenty minutes? I’ll send you a message about where to go.”
Jessica: “Okay. I’ll see you soon.”
