FOR the next few days, I worked closely with the marketing company to come up with a campaign to promote the new skincare product line. My mom insisted that I be part of the team, since she said that I would be more comfortable and be able to represent the product better if I were part of the team that came up with the campaign.
The head of the team is the brand manager, who is a woman in her thirties and extremely professional. Jake joins us at meetings sometimes, but he does not have control over what’s happening, and he’s unable to pull me out of the campaign as much as he wants to.
