THE next few days proved to be more challenging. Jake has given me every task imaginable, short of anything illegal. Most of the tasks he has given me are challenging physically. I would have preferred that he asked me to make a report or research on something. Instead, he sends me to fetch things, not just for him, but sometimes for the entire department. Most of the members of the department seem to enjoy Jake giving me a hard time. The only person who seemed sympathetic to my flight was Zach. He helped me with some heavy lifting. His help has made my stay in the department more bearable.
I decided not to go out to have lunch with my parents anymore, and just eat lunch at the cafeteria. None of the marketing team employees have asked me to join them at their table. In
