It was like time had stopped, and I froze in place as I saw Leo at his desk in front of the class. I wanted to leave the classroom, or at least hide my face, but there’s no way of doing that without looking suspicious.
Leo had his eyes on his desk and currently shuffling papers. Helena and I were sitting at the front and center of the classroom, and when he looked up, he would definitely see me immediately.
Helena poked my arm and said, “Hey, are you okay? You’re mesmerized by his handsomeness, too, aren’t you?”
Jessica: “Uhm, I actually know him. He’s my son’s math teacher.”
Helena: “Oh. What a small world, huh?”
