WHEN Jericho saw Paul, he immediately screamed, “Uncle Paul!”
I saw Paul smile as Jericho ran towards him. Paul immediately lifted him up and hugged him. My mom looked at me and asked, “How does Jericho know Paul?”
I looked at my mom and said, “Uhm, I used to work for Paul at his hotel. That was before I worked at the store.”
Mom: “They seem pretty close.”
Jessica: “Paul was a good boss.”
Everyone was quiet as they looked at Paul and Jericho interacting. I called Jericho to sit back next to me. I avoided looking at Paul and sat back down as well.
My dad asked Mr. Meyer asked to join us for dinner, so we were moved to a bigger table to accommodate all of us.
