I bowed my head and was fiddling at my fingers when Leo said, “Hi, Jessica. How are you?”
I was a bit surprised because Leo referred to me as Miss Villadolid when he saw me with Liz earlier. Now, he’s calling me Jessica.
Jessica: “I’m okay. Mr. Montemayor. How about you?”
Leo chuckled before saying, “Please, call me Leo.”
Jessica: “You called me Ms. Valladolid earlier. I’m just returning the favor.”
Leo: “Sorry about that. I didn’t want the other parents to misinterpret me calling you Jessica.”
