THE next day, I got ready for work early. I was excited to start working at the head office. My mom and dad wanted me to ride with them to the office, and wanted to see Jericho off on his first day of class at his new school.
I spent some time picking clothes to wear for my first day of work. I couldn’t help but be impressed with the wardrobe that my mom bought for me. I decided to wear a brown dress with ¾ sleeves. It has a pencil-cut skirt and is below the knee. I paired it with black stilettos with red soles.
I chose a bag that matched my dress and looked in the full-length mirror to check the whole ensemble. I was satisfied with how I looked, so I made my way downstairs, where my parents and my son were waiting.
