❤ Jessica’s POV ❤
THE program ended three hours after it started, and a lot of people approach our table and seemed excited to meet me. I met the heads of various departments. I don’t really remember their names, because there were too many of them and I was so overwhelmed. Most of them complimented my parents for how beautiful I am, and my mom always replied that she looked exactly like me when she was younger. My dad just agreed with my mom.
When Jake approached our table, he spoke to me after exchanging pleasantries with my parents.
Jake: “So, you really are related to the owners. Why did you deny it?”
Jessica: “It’s a long story.”
Jake: “Okay. Well, I’m glad I’ll be seeing more of you in the head office.”
I just smiled and said, “Looks like it.”
