I froze as I saw Paul sitting in the chair looking so furious. I looked at him and smiled nervously. I don’t know why I was so nervous. I didn’t do anything wrong.
Jessica: “Uhm, Paul. Hi. What are you doing here?”
Paul: “Shouldn’t I be the one asking you that question?”
Jessica: “Uhm, I’m working.:
Paul: “And you never even bothered to tell me?”
Jessica: “I wanted to, but I’ve just never gotten the chance.”
Dr. Mantiza stood up and said “Why don’t I give you two some privacy?” before leaving his office.
I wanted to stop him because it’s his office and I felt embarrassed that he felt the need to leave. He was quite fast though, and he was gone before I got the chance.
