I had just finished getting dressed when I heard Jerome knocking on my door. His knock sounded agitated. I opened the door right away and asked, "What's wrong, Jerome?"
Jerome seemed hesitant to talk at first, but he eventually said, "It's Paul, sis. We have to go."
I didn't need him to elaborate. I just knew something was wrong with Paul. Maybe something was awry during the operation, and Paul got hurt. I couldn't help but feel furious. Furious at Special Agent Fernandez and everyone else who decided to take Paul along. He's a strong enough man, but these agents train for a long time before they get involved in operations like this. I can't believe they brought in an untrained person to this dangerous operation.
