AFTER another week, the doctor determined that Paul was well enough to go home. I stayed with Paul the entire time and answered all of his questions as much as I could. Marian filled him in on his life in the orphanage, while I filled him in at high school and our life after we got engaged for the first time. There was a chunk of time missing when he was in college. Natasha was his best friend during that time, and I am not willing to let her back into our lives just to refresh Paul's memory.
When Paul asked about Natasha and why he was not friends with her anymore, I hesitated. I didn't tell him the details of what happened in Singapore, and what Natasha did, because I only wanted to fill him up with good memories. When I finally told Paul about it, he seemed surprised
