Angel's POV
I don't remember what happened after that, because I lost consciousness again after Gabriel marked me.
When I woke up, Gabriel was still sitting by the bed waiting for me.
"How do you feel now?" Gabriel came over and put his arm around me.
"Not too bad." I replied, "How about you? Did I hurt you last night?"
"No," he kissed the mark he'd left on the back of my neck, "you passed out right after I marked you."
His kiss was hot and made me shiver for a moment.
Because of this mark, my soul had a feeling of being filled up. Not only that, I felt that the restraints that had been bothering me before disappeared, and my body became lighter and returned to its previous state.
