Angel's POV
Could this potion be what they were after? My suspicions were not confirmed.
After returning home, I said goodbye to Kayden, then ate steak and milk, and finally slept in my own room until the next morning.
Just like the doctor said, by the next day I felt my body had fully recovered and I didn't feel any pain.
'Hey Angel, where are you?' Lee asked me on pack link.
'I'm at home. What's going on?' I was eating my breakfast.
''At home? My God, did you remember there was a match for you today?' Lee's tone was shocked.
A match?!
I put down the bread I was holding and looked at my alarm clock, it's already 9:30!
"Get over here, your game starts at ten!"
Damn it! I remembered I had a race today, but I slept too long and forgot what time it was.
"I'll be right over!" I said
