Xander’s POV “What do you mean you were arrested?” I stood in the middle of my living room, phone pressed hard against my ear, convinced I’d misheard him until the noise in the background proved otherwise. Voices echoed behind him. A metal door slammed somewhere nearby, followed by the unmistakable bark of an officer telling someone to move. “I mean exactly what I said,” Reed replied, his voice strained. “Possession and distribution of an illegal substance.
