Noorh held her pale, unconscious form in his arms as the flying house lizard landed on the stone steps in front of them. He stared shocked and confused at her.

Noorh turned to him. "She fainted. After screaming at you."

"She was probably just surprised to see you." Then again, he was sure the giant serpents up the mountain surprised her too. She never screamed or fainted at the sight of them.
