Lara's POV
That warning should have scared me.
It didn't. If anything, it made everything worse. Or better. I honestly couldn't tell anymore because Adrian's forehead was still pressed against mine and his hand was still cradling my face like I was something worth being careful with, and my brain had completely stopped producing rational thoughts.
"Okay," I whispered.
