Author’s POV
The black SUV sped aggressively through the rain-soaked streets, its tires screeching loudly against the wet road. Adrian Romano gripped the steering wheel tightly, his jaw locked dangerously.
Beside him, two of his men exchanged nervous glances but wisely remained silent. Nobody spoke whenever Adrian looked like this.
Cold. Focused. Deadly. One of the guards finally broke the silence carefully.
“We traced Rafael’s location twenty minutes ago, sir. An abandoned warehouse near the docks.”
Adrian’s dark eyes remained fixed on the road ahead.
“Are you certain he’s still there?”
“Yes, sir.”
