My Hate, My Hurt

Chapter 2

On the way home, Kelly took the bus as usual. Since Kelly finished visiting her parents last week, she is going to stay at her apartment for the upcoming week.

The bus stopped at the convenience store, dropped off some passengers and picked up new ones, and went on its way.

Due to the project, Kelly decided to drop off the bus and stop by a convenience store and buy a few things there. She picked up the needed tools and bought some snacks as well as dinner.

She then went to the waiting area outside the store and waited for the bus.

While waiting, Kelly plugged her earphones in and listened to some love songs. She started searching for an outfit design for the project as well.

Waiting for the bus took longer than expected. Kelly found the design and structure she wanted to do. Without anything else to do, Kelly just sat in the waiting area listening to some Taylor Swift when an occurrence caught her attention.

Not far from the street, a flashing ray of white light was shining.

Kelly's thought:

"What is that?"

"Is that the bus?

Kelly was confused for a moment.

"Isn't that late too bright to be the bus light?"

Kelly was shocked, an animal-like creature stepped out of the bright light.

Kelly wanted to take a clearer view of the animal-shaped figure that came out of the light. She got up and was about to walk there she heard a loud horn from a near distance, it was the bus.

Before she could even get a closer glimpse of the figure, the bus came rushing. Afraid of missing the shot to take the bus, she ignored the urge to go view the light and rushed to get on the bus.

On the bus, Kelly got her mind to something else.

Kelly's thought:

"hmmm, this is gonna be tiring but fun"

" I guess my weird hobby of "trying new things" during the strike of the Shashou virus will help me with this structure-making project"

Wondering about other things, Kelly forgot about the mysterious bright light.

At 8'o clock in the evening, Kelly arrived home. She took the contents of her bag out and put them on her study table. She washed up and ate the dinner she bought.

Unlike her routine, Kelly decided to have at least one night to enjoy and do something fun.

Kelly sat on her study table, arranged the things there, and set up a stand for her sketch pad, pencils, laptop, and some snacks.

Kelly thought:

"Well hey, if I'm not going to have a vacation because of the project I might as well leisure for tonight."

Kelly did all the fun things she could remember that she had in mind during her school hours and school days.

She played Mobile Legends, township, and even tried new games. She sang all the songs she wanted to sing not caring if she would disturb her neighbors.

It's already striking midnight and Kelly's still having fun. She ran out of food and so she decided to go out and grab more.

Kelly grabbed her keys and jacket and went out. She decided to go to the nearest convenience store. The nearest store was 8 minutes away from the apartment she stays at. Despite the distance, she still went to the convenience store.

On her way to the store, she decided to listen to music. A few moments later, her phone alarmed, she turned it on and saw that it was exactly midnight. She didn't think much of it until a cold, strong breeze hit her, and she saw a ray of purple like-barrier expanding, coming through her way.

Kelly tried to run as quickly as possible but a barrier-like ray still hit her. She got a little bit dizzy due to the impact, but she tried her best to get up.

Once Kelly got up, there it was a striking white light. Kelly thought:

"OH MY GOD!!!, don't tell me that's a vortex!????"
