Days passed, and Emilia heard nothing from Alexander. She had gotten used to him ghosting and reappearing whenever he chose. One night, just after she had finished having dinner with her father, she was looking forward to a quiet night alone. She stepped into her room, closing the door behind her, her eyes adjusting to the dim light, when she noticed someone sitting on her windowsill. Her heart skipped a beat as she saw him. “Alexander!”.
