Las Vegas. Airport. Ameelah was patiently waiting for her luggage at the baggage carousel when she realized that she brought nothing with her except for her shoulder bag where she put everything important to her, including money. Scratching her head and grinning secretly for her own stupidity, Ameelah turned her back from the baggage carousel and walked toward the exit area. As she got out of the airport, the heavy heat of the desert hit her face. She hailed a cab, and the driver immediately hopped out to help her. "Any bags for the trunk, miss?" the driver asked, looking around her empty hands. "Oh, no. Just this," Ameelah replied, gesturing to her shoulder bag with a small, embarrassed smile. "Alright then, hop on in! Where to?" She told him to bring her to a certain guest house,
