Chapter 2: The scavenging exploration

All of the leaders look at Leo to see what was going to be the plan, Leo spoke trying to not sound like he was worried. "Let's send someone that's good with navigation, does anyone know anyone?" Tiburon stood up and said "I do and she is perfect for the job, her name is Calypso, you will find her by the fountain." They all walked out of the Mansion to go find Calypso, they got to the fountain and saw a girl with blue wavy hair that looked like the waves of the sea, wearing a rainbow dress, with tattoos on her arms, eyes like sparkling water. Some of the leaders couldn't believe that she could be a navigator because she was wearing a beautiful dress, however Leo walked up to Calypso and said "Calypso if you're not ready to take on the task the lays ahead please let me know, however if you do take this quest we will be greatly appreciated." Calypso turns around swiftly and smiles then says "I would gladly take the task." Leo smiles because he was relieved that she took the task.

The next day everyone made a boat for Calypso, Calypso was wearing an outfit that made her look like an explorer, Leo and everyone else was standing by the boat to greet Calypso and say their goodbyes until she got back from her journey. Calypso got on the boat and waved goodbye to everyone and then turned around to face what lays ahead. It felt like a 5 day trip until she saw land, it was an unlighted night when she pulled up to the land, Calypso pulled out a lantern so she could see, when she saw light up ahead she turned off the lantern so no one could see her come up. she hides behind a bush, when she peeks out from the bush her eyes got wide, she couldn't believe what she was seeing. there was a group of people dancing around the fire, lots of food on a table and people playing music. One of the people stopped the music because they heard a noise, everyone stopped and looked. Calypso stood up and said in a gentle tone. "I'm not here to hurt anyone, I'm just exploring, while trying to find food for my people." The leader was wearing antlers on his head with paint on his face, he spoke with excitement. "Welcome explorer named Calypso, this is a hidden village named Nakatagong dahon." He then said "My name is Shanobi, we love our music and dancing, please come join us!" Calypso slowly stood up and walked to Shanobi. Calypso couldn't believe how much Nakatagong dahon reminded her of her home, it was late dawn approaching

Calypso and went to an empty tent to go sleep. Calypso was having a dream about her home, when she woke up she saw her feet were now a fish tail she hurried to cover up her fishtail so no one could see. By the time she looked up she saw two eyes staring at her as wide as they could be, The voice spoke with shakiness and said "What are you?" Calypso was shocked and didn't know how to respond but then she said "I'm not sure what we are called, all I know is that my village was cursed by a witch back in 1870." The person stepped out of the shadows and it was a man, he then spoke with a calm tone " that is very interesting. I've never seen anything like it before." Calypso hugged the cover closer to her because she did not know how he was going to act. Calypso then said "P- please don't hurt me, I'm just here to get food for my people and return home." The stranger chuckled and then said " I'm not here to harm you. please let me help you. Let's get some food for your people and get you where you need to go before anyone else sees you." Calypso was relieved but she was still on guard because she still didn't know this stranger and she didn't know what he was up to. by the time Calypso got out of bed her feet went back to normal, both Calypso and the stranger went and grabbed some food and then The stranger asked "Where is your boat or wagon?" calypsos then said "Follow me I'll show you where my boat is so we can put the food on the boat." The boat was covered in bushes and twigs. The stranger's eyes were wide open because he's never seen a boat like Calypso's, it looks strong like steel however he knows that it was not steel because of how it looked, he was not sure what it was made out of, they hurried to put the food on the boat by the time Calypso was turning around to tell the stranger goodbye and thank you the stranger hopped on the boat.

Calypso said "What are you doing? you cannot follow me!" The stranger just stood there on the boat and then he asked "Well why not? I'm an explorer too and I explored everything on this land besides your land. I think it'll be fascinating!" Calypso then said " well because I don't think my people will be as open arms as your people were." The stranger then said "Well strangers bring gifts and that's what I'm doing." Calypso then realized she was not going to get anywhere with him. So she nodded to let him know that it was okay to go with her to their Island. Calypso smiled while they sailed back to her home. she was excited to see her beautiful land and her people. Calypso Said to The stranger with eagerness in her voice. "I hope you're ready to see the most beautiful place in the world. Also I hope you don't get seasick and ready for a long trip." The stranger pushed the boat into the water and jumped back on and off They sailed, to the mysterious land that had been cursed by the witch.
