“ Liam, will you do one last thing for me? “ mother asked me while lying on the bed looking sad, I knew she was dying she was going far away from me.

“ mother I’ll do any thing you’ll say…. I…I won’t disappoint you….. Never “ I was crying but I promised her.

“ don’t…. Don’t be like your father …. Marry your mate…. It's the most beautiful thing…. It’s… it’s the moon goddess blessing never ignore your mate…. Will…will you do that for me? “ mother was losing consciousness, I knew she only had a few minutes but my father was nowhere near the room… huh he was not even in the pack.

“ I promise you, mother…. I… I will only marry my mate and make her my luna “ I promised.

“ mother will…. Al…. Always love… be happy my child….” I saw the worry in Mother's eyes before she closed it. I was crying…  Crying out loud.

      Hearing me cry guards outside came in, they saw mother lying there llifeless but no one came near me or my mother. After a few minutes aunt lily came in taking me in the embrace, she was my mothers only friend in this whole pack, she was my Godmother. After an hour or so my father came but he was not alone another lady was holding him. He looked at my mother with disgust.

“ Take that body and hurry it in the cemetery. Throw everything away from this room and start preparing things your new luna likes “ Father commanded the guards before going in his room. Everyone knew how hard it is when one of the mates dies but it’s different for my parent’s, my father has been breaking their bond little by little, making my mother suffer every single day.

      I will never forget what that bastard did to my mother. I swear… I’ll make them pay for what they did to her. 

   Present 

         I woke up in a panic, f*****g dream! Ahh....... I was about to destroy anything that gets in my hand but someone knocked on my door. I opened the door to see my best friend Ash standing there with a worried look on his face. I sighed and walked towards my bed. 

    " you okay buddy? " Ash asked, he knew about my mother and the nightmares.

" yeah " I sighed again and sat down on the bed, Ash walked in, took the chair from the side and sat in front of me.

" Had a nightmare again, huh? " he asked looking straight towards me. I nodded but remained silent.

He got up from his chair "let's go and practice man, come on it will help you realise some of the stress" Ash knew that I was not going to talk about my mother so asked me to practice. I groaned but got up from my place and looked at him " I'll be down in 10 man " 

" ok, and as for your information mum has told me to bring you back for breakfast today " Ash was aunt lily's son and also my beta. 

I smiled " great! " 

    After four hours of practice with Ash and James my gamma we took a break and sat outside of our practice room under a tree. " hey man! That was pretty intense! " James said. 

" Someone needs to practice more if he thinks this was intense," I said " how did I choose such weak gamma? " I teased James. Ash laughed at us. 

James growled at both of us but then said " awww... I knew you loved me isn't it why you made me your gamma? " this made Ash laugh more than he was already, I looked at James in disgust but then we joined Ash laughing out loud. Just like Ash, James was my best friend. We were inseparable from childhood and that's why I declared them as my beta and gamma on my 15th birthday. 

" oh! Lord, " Ash said then he looked at his phone then frowned, " guys it mother, she is angry because we are an hour late for breakfast and she has been waiting for us " shoot anut lily!

   We jumped from our places and looked at each other ' race? " I asked them both. They smirked at me and nodded. We all took our wolf form and started running towards her house. 

           I was first to reach there, then James and Ash reached at the same time. Aunt Lily was waiting at the back door with some extra clothes for us, she smiled at us " come on boys wear these clothes and get in, I'll wait for you all at the dining table " she put clothes on the patio and left. 

         We Changed into our human form and put on clothes. Aunt Lily was already serving our breakfast when reached there. Scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, salad and juice was waiting for us. Anut lily laughed at how I was looking at breakfast. 

" oh boy! There is more so sit down and help your self " I shamelessly sat down and filled my plate with everything. Aunt lily came from the kitchen with a strawberry shake and put it in front of me. 

" your favourite, drink it there is more in the kitchen, " aunt Lily said while patting my head softly. She was my mother my friend my therapist after mom died. 

" seriously! Sometimes I think you are her son more than me " Ash said with jealousy which made us all laugh. 

" is our Almighty beta jealous? " I asked 

" oh come on! You are all 20 now, don't behave like children " aunt Lily said before sitting next to Ash and start eating breakfast with us. 

" Now for the reason, I called you here Liam is to discuss something serious." Aunt lily said. I looked at her as I finish my last and I knew it was serious if she is saying so.

" what is it, aunt? " I asked.

" In a few days, the new moon is coming and I want to take you three somewhere before you challenge your father for the fight " I looked at her with wide eyes, no one but Ash and James knew about it . I looked at them both to see they were as shocked as me. " Don't look at them, they didn't tell me a single word. But do you think that you'll plan all this at my house and I wouldn't know? " 

" Sorry aunt, it was never my intention to keep this from you but I didn't know how to... " I said with a little bit of disappointment in myself.

" Liam, I am not disappointed in you for not telling me but I want you to know I am not stopping you from doing what you think is right . Know I want you all to be ready in the morning in five days. " 

We all nodded at her and left in silence.
