The passengers were thrown side to side against their seat restraints as the sleekly wedge-shaped troop carrier was buffeted in the swirling atmosphere of Brimstone V. The atmosphere was riddled with eddies of swirling, superheated gases, creating violent updrafts and downdrafts making a smooth flight impossible. Fortunately the troop carrier’s gravity compensator had been modified to handle traversing this unstable environment.
