15 Location unknown Date unknown Nick groaned as he opened one eye. The room around him began to spin and his stomach twisted as if it were in a vice. Squeezing his eyes closed, he clutched his stomach and tasted sour bile at the back of his throat. Damn, I feel like crap. His helmet had been removed. “I’m really sorry, Nick.” “Siren?” His voice was cracked and dry as a desert in his own ears. “Yes.” A hand pressed on his right shoulder. “Calm down and take deep breaths in through your nose, then out your mouth.
