Jaxon's POV Her body pressed against mine made my heartbeat accelerate_ something I thought was once dead. My wolf was restless, almost as though he wanted to lunge right out of my body and have her. Her scent drove me insane and with the constant disturbance from my wolf, I strongly suppressed the longing to mark her as my own. I didn't mark her for two reasons. She was an omega, and I refused to move on from Yvonne. The omega girl was awake in my arms but appeared weak. She didn't care that I noticed she inhaled my scent from time to time.
