28 Unlike Daisy, there was nothing in particular that Scout wanted to see. She knew people who would be happy to see her, but no one she was as close to as she was to Daisy, Emilie, and the Malini sisters. She wanted to think about the choice she was about to make, but she didn’t want to ask anyone’s advice about it. She just wanted to be alone, with her dogs, to think.
