Liam’s POV
“Mike, why are you calling me? What happened?” – I answered on the first ring.
I couldn’t let Jamie go alone, so I sent Mike to follow her and make sure everything was fine. He was instructed to keep his distance but still be close enough if something came up. For him to be calling me one of two things happened either something happened to Jamie, or she saw him and called him out. I’m hoping it’s the latter.
“Boss, it’s Miss Harden. She’s been taken.” – he said puffing, short of breath.
“WHAT?” – I shouted in disbelief.
“Some guy grabbed her and shoved her into a black SUV. I’ve just texted you a photo of the plate number so we can run it. I couldn’t keep up because of the f*****g traffic.” – he explained in a hurry.
