Astrid awoke with the sun to see Raiden still sleeping, and couldn't hold back a soft laugh. He looked like a grumpy old man, his face contorted as if he'd just smelled some particularly brutal onions. Despite spending the last few months teaching her to wake up at dawn, he himself was definitely not a morning person. Stretching, Astrid quickly got dressed in her issued uniform, a set of light armor with a pale blue dragon etched into the cloth.
