Chapter 2 "We meet again"

Later that night, Aubrey and her adoptive family all went out to eat at the L’Appart. Aubrey wore a strapless long v-cut black sparkled dress. Across the restaurant, Zane and a close friend of his were enjoying a mean until looks over and sees Aubrey sitting with her adoptive family “What a coincidence” he says chuckling, keeping his eyes on her the whole time. Aubrey’s father looked at her “Aubrey, I want you to apologize to your mother and sister” he said calmly Aubrey looked at him disgusted “You want me to apologize for what exactly?” “For being wrong” he said, grabbing her hand, Aubrey took her hand away forcefully slamming her hands on the table “I’ll never apologize to that pampered b***h and that witch” Aubrey say’s looking at them with a cold face “Aubrey how dare you disrespect your mother and sister like that!” he says shouting making a seen, Aubrey leans in close to him “Disrespect? You want to know what disrespect is?” she continues, “they get away with drugging me and you don’t give a f**k because I’m just your adoptive daughter right? Well, let me tell you something Mr. Salvador for the past 3 years, I’ve put up with being treated like s**t, abused by my adoptive mother physically and mentally and you, my beloved ungrateful excuse for a sister torments every day of my life for no apparent reason and my adoptive father had evil intentions towards me! Well, you know what? I’m no longer a member of the Salvador family until this day forward I will cut all ties with all of you” she says steading up throwing her napkin at him “You ungrateful b***h” Mrs. Salvador was about to slap Aubrey until Zane grabbed her arm forcefully shoving it making her fall “Do you have a death wish!” he warned “President Costello, this matter is between my family please don’t interfere”, Mr. Salvador says to him. Zane grabs Aubrey by the waist “From this day forward, if I catch you trying to hurt my women again, I’ll make sure your company goes bankrupt” he says, walking away holding Aubrey by his side.

Outside the restaurant, “Thank you Mr. Costello it was nice meeting you take care” Aubrey said as she was walking away “Don’t you mean the second time we've met?” Zane says, making Aubrey stop turning around “I’m sorry?” Zane walk’s up to her pulling her to kiss him “What are you doing!” Aubrey say’s shoving him “I like you Aubrey” he says “Thank you but I don’t even know you” she says as Zane leans in “You didn’t have that problem last night” he grins, for a moment Aubrey stood there remembering everything last night “Oh my god it's him! The bastard who took my virginity”, she tells herself pissed “Yea well, it was nice seeing you again bye”. Zane grabs her wrist but quickly Aubrey grabs his hand from her wrist twisting it to his back “I don’t believe you heard me I said goodbye”, she says whispering to him. Zane untwists his arm twisting hers “Be my women” he whispers Aubrey breaks out of it making him step back “Not interested”. She says to him Zane’s assistant walks up “Miss Grajeda, allow me to introduce Mr. Zane Costello, President of Costello Towers New York’s top company” He tells her Aubrey looked at him “Mr.…” “Please! Call me Zane” he interrupted her “Ok Zane, what do you want from a nobody like me if you can find a high-end girl in seconds?” she asked him, Zane got close to her “I find you remarkably interesting, there's something about you that is somewhat familiar I just can't quit get why and also I know I’m the first man you’ve been with so I’d like to take responsibility” he tells her honestly Aubrey gets embarrassed “That’s not necessary” she says walking away. James was about to go after her until Zane stopped him “No let her go, make sure she’s safe. Keep an eye on her” he ordered.
