Chapter 6 "She's Back!"

Walking into the hotel, Aubrey walked straight through the lobby to the elevators. As she was passing, Genevieve and Brian were checking in when they both paused as they saw Aubrey walking not noticing them “Aubrey?” they both said “What? How can this be? She was supposed to be in the asylum!” Genevieve thought. She looked at Brian and saw he hadn’t taken his eyes off her “Brian? Are you ok babe?” she asked softly Brian snapped out of it “Yea I thought I saw something” he said, shaking it off, Brian grabbed Genevieve's hand quickly leading her to the elevator Aubrey took up and saw she got off the 12th floor.

Aubrey walked out of the elevator making a call “Hey I’m here. What room are you in?” she asks “I’m in room 1284 6 doors from the elevator on your right” Michael says opening the door, hanging up Aubrey sees him and walks to him “Long time no see little big brother” she says smiling looking at him “Long time no see big little sister” he says hugging her tight opening the door for her leading her in “Wow nice room” she says sitting on the couch “Yea thanks Jeremy’s on his way he should be here by now” Michael says as someone knocked on the door Michael gets up right away taking his gun out holding in behind him looking out the peek hole “It’s Jeremy” he says putting it away. Opening the door, Jeremy walks in after greeting him “Well hello miss M.I.A” he says sitting next to her giving her a hug Aubrey rolls her eyes hugging him “Yea, I know I have a lot to explain, so both of you sit” she says Michael sat across from them Aubrey stuttered for a moment crossing her fingers together “The reason why I went M.I.A is because I lost my memory 3 years ago and I’ve been on the other side of town living with the Salvador’s who took me in as their adoptive daughter” she tells them Michael and Jeremy both sat up right away “What do you mean lost your memory? How did you end up with them?” Michael asked Aubrey closed her eyes remembering everything she went through “It’s a long story but what I can tell you is that those people put me through hell, and I plan on hitting them tonight, so I’ll need both your help” she tells them seriously Michael and Jeremy both looked at each other “Aubrey what the hell did those people do to you?” Michael asks seriously “For the past 3 years, I’ve put up with being treated like s**t, abused by my adoptive mother physically and mentally, being drugged almost molested because of my adoptive sister and my adoptive father had evil intentions towards me” she tells them with tears running down her face, Michael stood up right away sitting next to her leaning her head on his shoulder “Don’t worry Sis we’ll hit them where it hurts” he says pissed off “I have the van we can go now!” Jeremy says pissed off Aubrey whipped her tears away “Let’s go” she says with a straight face standing up walking out the door Michael and Jeremy, both follow her. Waiting for the elevator Aubrey felt someone was watching her. She took her phone out and looking at the reflection pretending to fix her makeup she saw Brian looking at her from down the hall. Aubrey stood there staring at him remembering the love they had until he ruined it by sleeping with Genevieve that’s when she ignored him pretending he wasn’t there, the elevator bell rang arriving and they all walked in “Aubrey you alright?” Jeremy asked Aubrey nodded as the elevators closed.

That night, at Salvador Corp 2 buildings away, Aubrey, Jeremy and Michael stood in an abandoned room wearing all black “Target spotted boss” Jeremy and Michael both said to Aubrey “Fire!” She said without hesitation both Jeremy and Michael fired bazooka guns making the sides of the building explode. Bodyguards ran out the building surrounding the place with guns “Boss, we’ve been hit”, Mr. Salvador’s head bodyguard calls from the walkie talkie “Find out who has the balls to attack us now” Mr. Salvador yells.15minutes later, Aubrey, Jeremy and Michael disappear from the building before they arrive surrounding the place “Sir, the people who hit us are gone” the bodyguard says on the phone, in Mr. Salvador's office, he throws the phone braking in on the floor “I’ll find you” he says to himself.

Aubrey gets dropped off home that night after changing into her regular clothes “Hey sis, whose house is this?” Michael asks Aubrey looks around “It’s mine and my husband’s house” She says Michael and Jeremy are both shocked “What?! you're married?!” they both asked, “Yea I got married recently” she tells them “Wow to whom?” Jeremy asks “I’ll introduce you one of these days “she tells them saying goodbye Michael and Jeremy both look at her worried “I hope this husband can takes care of her” Jeremy says Michael looks at her as she walks in “Yea me too’ Michael says as they drive away. Walking inside Aubrey grabbed a water bottle from the kitchen, then walked upstairs and saw Zane sitting in his office doing work on his computer “Hey you”, she says walking in Zane looks up “Hey how did everything go with your brother?” he asks Aubrey walks up to him kissing him “Fine he was just pissed that I went M.I.A for 3years” she tells him Zane grabs her sitting her on top of him kissing her back “I missed you all day” he says smiling at her Aubrey blushed “I missed you too” she says with a big smile on her face Zane’s phone rings “Hello? What is it James?” he says, “Sir, turn on the news” He says Zane grabs the remote turning the news on and saw that the Salvador corporation building was hit “Who did it?” He asks “It wasn’t us sir I’m guessing the Salvador’s made enemies but it was a good thing we left before they hit” he says Aubrey heard what he says “You were there!” she says standing up quickly, Zane looked at her, he saw she went pail “Yea I was but left before someone hit them” he tells her Aubrey felt relief “Oh my god that was close I could’ve killed him” she tells herself “ I’m sorry if I sound dramatic I’m just happy you got out before anything” she says hugging him tight, “I’m going to take a bubble bath then go to bed” she says quickly walking out the office. Zane looked at her as she walked out quickly. “Look into it. Let me know if you find anything, Also look deeper into Aubrey’s past I want to know every single thing you can dig up.” he tells James hanging up Zane sat there thinking, “Why was she so nervous about me being there? Does it have something to do with her?” Zane’s mind was going all over the place “Aubrey, if you’re in trouble I’ll do anything to help you”, he told himself.
