Catherine kept watching the path that Ben walked past even after he had left. She felt sad that something like that was happening to him and for some reason, she felt like she was at fault for it but didn’t know why Ton would want to do that to Ben when it seemed like Ben didn’t do anything, and then, she would’ve read his emotions from the way he looked tense when they met him and how unwilling he was to divulge information.
She could hear Mia talking to her, and asking her questions but her mind wasn’t there and was barely paying attention to whatever Mia was saying to her. She couldn’t really understand why she was suddenly out of it, and the only explanation she could give herself was that maybe she was traumatized from what Kalia and her minions had done to her so she could understan
