Kalia was almost done preparing to go to the mall, and decided to call her friends to make sure they were all done.
She picked up her phone after looking at the mirror to be sure that she looked perfect in her reflection. She couldn’t be caught looking anything less than perfect. She knew it would ruin her reputation. The one she had built brick by brick, making sure she was the queen bee of her high school.
After a final touch of her lip gloss, she hummed in satisfaction. “Yes, that’s just the color I was going for. I look extra fab. Everyone would want to talk to me today.” She muttered to herself, pointing at the mirror as she smiled. She stood there for a few minutes, because it had taken her at least two hours to get ready and be perfect.
