My head was pounding. The pain of it pulsing through my skull made me want to scream and cry out for help, but I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. I was tired of everything. How did I feel pain the moment I came into consciousness? What happened to me? Why did my body hurt so much?
My whole body felt, or rather didn’t feel anything other than the intense heat that emanated from beneath my skin. It felt like my skin was peeling. I couldn’t understand what was happening to me.
I turned around, my body still aching as though I’d been hit with something heavy and I hadn’t even tried hard enough to block the blow. I didn’t really remember what happened, but I was sure I was in school the last time I checked, so what was going on? Why did my whole body ache so much? . A single tear stream
