“What do you suggest we do now?” Catherine asked looking at Mia like she was tired and they hadn’t even done much yet, but she didn’t know the girl had a lot of plans up her sleeve, and her questions just excited Mia more.
“Well, we’re going to the arcade now!” Mia smiled widely, her eyes twinkling with excitement, and all Catherine could do was smile back and roll her eyes in the process.
They hadn’t done much, just Mia showing Catherine around and telling her about how much fun they would be having, while Catherine was trying to put her head in the zone because she really did come out to have fun- genuine fun for the first time with a friend, so she had to bring up all the excitement that was suppressed.
“The arcade?” She asked, glancing around when she didn’t see an arcade anywhere.
