Hailey's POV

Tuesday....

I woke up earlier than I normally would because I have to get to the office early for my tour before actual work. Today I decided to be comfortable and wear a mid thigh dress,and flats. I can't be bothered with heels today BECAUSE IT'S STILL SNOWING!? And I decided to put my hair up in a bun. I left the apartment and checked my emails on my way to the train station- I couldn't afford cans today- I stopped in my tracks and gasped..... '$10,000 has been directly deposited into your account from Satero Payroll' "What. the. f**k" I said out loud. How? When? Why? I thought, my paycheck wasn't due until next week? I have to ask him about this when I get to work. I got to the subway and hopped on the train, 30 minutes later I arrived at my stop. I got off and walked upstairs and exited. "f**k" I said, "I forgot to get coffee, I need coffee" I walk to work and see that there is a Starbucks across the street. I don't like Starbucks, " I guess it'll have to do." I went there with 10 minutes to spare, it was surprisingly empty. "Hi, can I get a salted caramel cold brew with sweet cream cold foam and six pumps of caramel, please?" "Sure no problem, that'll be $5.62" the barista said. I paid and waited, I got my drink and left. Just as I was about to walk across the street a black suv pulled up and Mr. Satero stepped out. I stopped and stared at him. He looked at me and smiled.... and winked. A wink? Wtf. He went inside and I went in after, I said good morning to Rebecca and she barely even looked my way as she was gawking at the boss. "Good Morning Mr. Satero '' I said with a smile. I'm always nervous around him. "Good Morning Hailey" he returned while staring into my eyes. Oh, the way he says my name. I could seriously have an o****m from that. I went to the elevator along with Mr. Satero and I was about to go on one elevator and he on the other but he stopped me, "Hailey- I mean Ms. Rose? Why don't you take this elevator? It's going to the same place as the other would '' he said with a shrug. I literally started to turn red instantly. 'Calm down, it's just an elevator ride' I thought to myself. We get on the lift and went up, it was silent for a minute and then he said "How was your first day?" I didn't know how to answer that. I mean I did but I was shocked that he was trying to make conversation. "It was very nice, I thought the workload would be more but I just thought you were trying to make it easy on me since it was my first day" I blabbered. He smiles, "Okay Ms.Rose, remind me to give you more files to organize" He chuckled. I just returned a smile. We made it to the 23rd floor and Eve greeted us both. She was giving us weird looks, well more to Mr. Satero. "Good Morning Hailey and Mr. Satero '', "Good Morning Eve" we both said, at the same time. Mr. Satero walked off but before he could enter his office he turned around and said "Hailey when you're done with the tour please come to my office. I have some things I need to discuss with you". And with that, he left. I went to my office to quickly drop off my things before starting the tour. We started off on the 2nd floor because the first floor is just the lobby. So the second floor is the cleaning staff, the 3rd floor is the cafeteria and guest bathrooms, the 4th floor is marketing, 5th floor is where the conference rooms are. All the big meetings are held in those conference rooms, I think it was 6 or 7 rooms down there. The tour went on for another hour and it was now 8:15. I met some new people and they were so nice, especially this guy named Evan. He's hot, like Michelle Marrone hot. I told him I worked directly with the boss as his PA but he didn't seem to care or mind, and even better.... We have lunch at the same time, ahh. I also met this girl named Anna. She's so beautiful she could be a model, she works in the PR section. So she makes sure whatever is printing and going out is in top tier condition and nothing but facts.

This 'office space' is huge, I mean I would expect nothing less from a freaking billionaire. After the tour, I went straight to Mr. Satero's office and the door was wide open. "Come in and close the door,'' he said softly, too softly. "Is everything okay Mr. Satero?" "Please call me Blake from now on". I nodded. "So Hailey, I ran a background check on you as I do all my employees, and I Have some questions" "Okay, shoot" I responded. "Okay, where do you live?"......I was not ready for that question, technically I am homeless but I don't want to say that. I'm not homeless, but I didn't live in an apartment that I owned, I slept on the couch for god sake. I was overthinking so hard and zoned out that I didn't notice him staring into my soul, mhmm. The way he looks at me makes me want to drop my panties right here and now. "I live with my..... Friend" I said hesitantly. "Mhmm, a friend? And where does this friend live?" he asked, eyeing me seriously "He lives in the city, not too far from here, about 30 minutes" I sat there so stiffly you would think I was frozen on a mountain. "Ok Hailey, I don't know if you noticed but you received your paycheck a week early"- "yes I meant to ask about that" I interrupted "yeah, hold on. So I knew from your background check that you didn't live anywhere. So what I want you to do is...." He stopped as if he was scared to say what he wanted. "I want to give you one of my apartments, here in the city". I was in shock, what the hell does he mean? I can't take it. "Umm thank you Mr. Satero but I can't accept that offer, what would people think?" I stuttered. "Hailey, you shouldn't care about what people think. You need to think about you, how happy and 'at home' would you feel in a place of your own? Think of it as a business proposal?No one will know that I gave it to you. You don't have to worry about that." "So what do you say?" he looked at me. "I don't know what to say, this is so overwhelming. Why did you decide to do this?" I asked, " well- I-... I want to take care of my employees" he said, not reassuring. But to be honest I would take it because I am kinda tired of sleeping on a couch. My back is older than me because of it. "Can I get back to you later on about my decision?", "yes sure" he said. "Is there anything else you need to discuss?" I asked, wanting to leave. "Actually yes, So about your job-" omg he's firing me? How can he fire me and give me an apartment? My face turned into a frown. "It's not what you think, i just need to update you on somethings that I didn't go over in the interview" I visibly relaxed. "So, just more to add to your duties. You will need to accompany me to my trips abroad, important events such as galas, charity events and business ventures, meaning meetings and more. And speaking of abroad trips, I- we have a business trip to London in a few days with a potential client." Wow, that was a nice bomb to drop. It didn't register what he said for a minute.... "London? When?" "Friday, we'll be there from Saturday to Monday, and you'll come back to work on Tuesday. How does that sound?" That sounds great in all honesty but I started thinking.... We're gonna be alone together. Oh god. I'm attracted to this man "Okay, that's fine" I replied "Okay, that is all. Take these documents and do them" I wish he would do me.

I went back to my office and began to work but all I could think about was Blake's offer. Should I really take it? Was it free? I forgot to ask him. I decided to email him because to be honest, this offer was too good to give up. 'Good Afternoon, Mr. Satero. I have a question about the offer, is it free? If not how much would I give per month?- Thank you, Hailey Rose'. I waited not even 2 minutes for him to respond 'Hello Ms. Rose, The deal would be that you don't pay anything. I already own it so you just move in and decorate however you want to.- Blake Satero , CEO'. I didn't respond, this was all too much for me. 'So Ms.Rose, is that a yes?' he followed up with the previous email. I honestly don't know what to say. I continued to work until lunch at 12:15, and surprisingly I saw Evan come up to my office. "Hey Hailey, you wanna grab some lunch" he asked smiling, "Hey Evan, sure just give me 5 minutes"... he stood there waiting and unexpectedly Blake came up behind him "What are you doing up here?" he asked annoyed, he gave Even an angry look as if he wanted to beat him up. "I'm waiting for Hailey to go get some lunch" he answered. Evan looked very nervous. Blake stood there for another minute staring grimmly and he just left... that was weird. Evan and I left for lunch and thank god it wasn't snowing today. We walked in silence until we both asked at the same time "So, where do you wanna go?" He chuckled and I laughed. "Ummm I was thinking smash burger?" Oh that sounds good, "yeah sure that's fine". We made our way about 20 minutes there, it was quite full but we found a table and sat down, "What do you want? I'll go order it?". I was looking at the menu screen and then I decided on a cheese burger, smashfries, and an oreo milkshake. He went off and I sat there scrolling through i********:, I saw a notification that someone liked my picture. Blake. Was he stalking my page?, there's only one picture there really nothing to see. It kinda felt good that he was watching me ;). I'm gonna toy with him. I've been thinking about him a lot and I can't deny that he is an extremely attractive man. I'm probably 1 millionth in line to probably get with him. But it's also confusing because boss-employee relationships are weird, people would think the absolute worst, nut he's so sexy. I wonder what he would look like completely n***d. I bet he has a huge dic- "Hey" Evan said returning, breaking me away from my thoughts. "Hi"I said with a smile. "So tell me about yourself" I asked. "Okay well I'm from Georgia, I went to Clark Atlanta University, I have my Masters and Bachelors in Marketing; hence my job' he chuckle. "I have an older brother and an older sister, both in the Navy and I'm single" he said staring in my eyes. He's so adorable. "So tell me about yourself Hailey", okay "I'm from Denver and went to University of Denver, I have a bachelors and masters degree but I just looked for any job because I really needed on. I don't have any siblings, I live with my friend on his couch but I'm moving soon and.... I'm single as well" He just sat there looking at me, analyzing me, it felt awkward until "Evan! Evan!" the waitress called out his name for our food. He got the food and I felt relieved of him not staring me down. We sat there for the rest of time eating and talking about our childhoods, telling stories and everything.... We left and went back to the office, "Thank you so much for lunch Evan. I'll get it next time?" I smiled, "No problem Hailey, and sure" he returned the smile and we went our separate ways. As I'm walking past Blake's office he calls out "Hailey! Come in here!" what's up his a*s I rolled my eyes. I went to his office and his face was red. "Umm yes?" I asked. "Let me remind you of something, there are no office relationships allowed here! So no fooling around with anyone... do you understand?" he was standing in front of me now staring me down. Okay now this is hot. He seems angry that I went out with Evan, it was only lunch? Is he jealous? Ha, yeah right. He can't be?! I thought back to when I said I'm going to play with him. "Okay BLAKE, I'll do whatever you say. Your rules right?" I said this in a sultry voice with a straight face, I don't know how I did that because I wanted to burst out laughing. His eyes were wide open. "Is that all Blake? I have to get back to work, '' I smiled. He nodded and I walked out swaying my hips more than I would ever. I let out a deep breath I didn't even know I was holding. I went back to my office and started working. This is going to be fun.

Blake's POV ;)

I was thinking about Hailey as usual. I woke earlier than I would because I wanted to be at the office with Hailey. She's going in for a tour today. I've been doing some thinking and made the decision to offer Hailey one of my condos here in the city, it's just to make her feel safe.. Also I don't want her sleeping on some guy's couch, thinking about it makes me mad. I got dressed and went to the office, on my way there we stopped at my coffee shop to get some coffee and something to eat. When we were arriving at the office I saw Hailey crossing the road "Stop right here" he pulled the car to stop, right in front of her.

I stepped out. She stopped and stared at me. I looked at Hailey and smiled and winked. I made my way inside and with Hailey following, I noticed that Rebecca was gawking at me. "Good Morning Mr. Satero '' Hailey said with a smile. "Good Morning Hailey '' I returned while staring into her eyes. We went to the elevator and Hailey was about to go on one elevator and I on the other because I have a private elevator but I Stopped her "Hailey- I mean Ms. Rose? Why don't you take this elevator? It's going to the same place as the other would '' I said with a shrug. She's so cute, she literally started to turn red. I went back to work. Emailing clients, etc.. I saw Evan from downstairs come up to Hailey's office, why is he here. They don't come up here unless they're seeing me. I went to her office and stood behind him."What are you doing up here?" I asked annoyed, I gave Even an angry look"I'm waiting for Hailey to go get some lunch," he answered. He looked very nervous. I stood there for another minute staring grimmly and then just left... I thought about them together as I ate my lunch, I had a salad and grilled chicken. What were they even talking about? I sat and ate and watched soccer on my th, still thinking about them. When lunch was over, I saw Hailey and Evan walk into the lobby and my face turned red with anger. They talk for another minute and then Hailey comes up. "Hailey! Come in here!" she comes in and i'm pretty sure she sees my face."Umm yes?" she asked. "Let me remind you of something, there are no office relationships allowed here! So no fooling around with anyone... Do you understand?" I was standing in front of her now without even thinking about it. I was staring her down. She smells so good I just want to devour her neck and mark her to be mine. "Okay BLAKE, I'll do whatever you say. Your rules right?" she said this in a sultry voice with a straight face, My eyes were wide open and my d**k was twitching. "Is that all Blake? I have to get back to work, '' she smiled. What is she doing? My throat was as dry as the Sahara desert, I nodded and she walked out swaying her hips. I let out a deep breath I didn't even know I was holding. I just stood there shocked at what she just did. This trip is going to be fun. I smirked devilishly to myself.
