Chapter 4

*THIS CHAPTER IS IN BLAKE's POV*

Monday.....

I woke up at 5:00 am to go to the gym, as I do every morning. I barely slept last night because I was thinking about Ms.Rose ever since I did what I did in my office. Today is her first official day of work being my personal assistant, I was nervous for some weird reason. I thought about her all night last night and I fell asleep around 3 am. Now I am just going to do some legs and core workout for an hour.

I finished my workout, it was pretty good. I went back to my kitchen and made some coffee and avocado toast with bacon and eggs. I have a personal chef but I didn't feel like bothering her to come here when I could just make it myself. After I ate breakfast it was 7:00 am, I had 1 hour to get to the office but it didn't take long to get dressed. I went to take a shower and as I started to take off my clothes, Hailey popped into my mind. Here we go again. I tried to distract myself by thinking about a cat eating or an old person 'twerking'. ew. Anyways I took a 10 minute shower, brushed my teeth, got out and entered my walk-in closet. I put on a Navy blue Tom Ford suit and some brown dress shoes. My hair wasn't too much to deal with so it was easy to do, I just kinda slicked it back. I grabbed my briefcase and headed down to the lobby and my driver Jones was waiting for me. He came out and opened the door for me "Good Morning Mr. Satero '' he said with a nod, I returned the nod "Good Morning,Jones. You don't have to open the door for me you know?" I said with a chuckle. I hated when he opened the door for me, my hands worked perfectly fine. "I know sir, it's a habit," Jones responds. We made our way to the office as it was now 7:45. It shouldn't take long from my place to the office, like 10 minutes but there was traffic so 15. We arrived at the office and Jones, once again, opened the door. I rolled my eyes ''thank you". I walked in the lobby and Rebecca looked up at me very flirtatiously and smiled cheekily at me. "Good Morning Bla-" she stopped mid sentence when I looked at her with raised brows "Mr. Satero '' she smiled "Morning" I walked past her and to the elevator. There were three elevators and one of them was my personal one. I took it to the 23rd floor. As I came off the elevator Eve greeted me with a smile "Good Morning" she said I returned the smile "Morning, Eve". Okay that's it, I smiled too much this morning. I hated smiling. I went into my office and locked my door, made my way to my desk and turned on my computer. My camera screen was on and I saw Hailey walk in. In heels? It's snowing! What if she had fallen? She looked beautiful, her hair was perfect and that suit... oh that suit. I shook my head as inappropriate thoughts appeared. She was talking to Rebecca and then she walked off, I noticed Rebecca gave her a weird look. hmm ?. I watched her as she waited for the elevator, when she got on the elevator and started talking to Eve. Then my phone rang, I answered and spoke to Eve, she was letting me know that Hailey arrived and gave her permission to send her to my office. I gave her permission. I saw Hailey make her way to my office. She knocked... knocked.. "Come in!" my voice boomed. She opened the door and slowly came in. I didn't look up at her because I remembered what I did, and I just couldn't look at her. "ahem." she cleared her throat "Good Morning Mr. Satero ''. "Your office is right next to mine, Eve will email you your schedule, there are some files that need attending to and I will call you in 10 minutes to get them" I all in one sentence, still didn't look up, "Okay Mr. Satero'' her sweet voice said, she stood there as if waiting to see if there was anything else. "You can leave now!" I said all too loudly. She left and went to her office. 10 minutes went by and I called her for the files. The information on the files were perfectly fine in the database but last night I came in and moved everything around, and mixed up the papers in the folders. Just so I could see her today. When she was walking out I couldn't help but look at her a*s, her perfect little a*s in those pants. And the way she walked in those heels, they were too high!. But she looks damn good, just thinking about her made my d**k hard. I tried to distract myself with work but nothing helped. After another 10 minutes I made my way to the elevators just as Hailey was leaving her office. She went to Eve's desk and whispered "Where's the conference room?"Eve returned the whisper and laughed "Follow me, I'm going". As the three of us stood there waiting for the lift, I took out my phone and in the process I glanced at them. I noticed Eve giving me a strange look, I knew what that look was for... I have my own pass for my own personal lift, I never go on the same lift as my staff, but I wanted to be close to Hailey. I ignored her and stepped on, it took a couple minutes to get to the 5th floor and we stepped off. Amongst ourselves were the other staff heading to the room. As I enter the room I start explaining what our goals are for this quarter, contracts we are trying to sign, expanding our company and competition we have to defeat. I glanced at Hailey whenever she wasn't looking at me, she's quite attentive. She stands out from every other female in this room, her skin is glowing and she's easily the most beautiful here. I then saw Emily giving her daggers, I don't know why that is, that's weird. I mean I do know why. Emily always behaved territorial when it involved me, we had s*x a couple times before she started working here but I quickly shut that down. It wasn't even all that if I'm being honest. After 15 minutes the meeting ended and everyone including Hailey left. I was hoping she would have stayed behind to ask questions or something since she was new but she left.

I made my way back to my office and continued to work. I was expecting some documents from Hailey at 4 so I gave my attention to other important emails. I look at the clock and it is now 12:15 pm, lunch. I didn't bring any lunch today but my chef would send me something, in the midst of thinking I overheard Hailey and Eve leaving for lunch. 5 minutes pass and my chef brings me lunch, "Good Afternoon Mr. Satero. Here I brought some Pasta Primavera with homemade strawberry lemonade and a chicken Caesar salad" I smiled because I was actually craving pasta. "Thank you Eric, I appreciate it" he left and I started eating and watching basketball on my smart TV. As soon as I was I heard a knock "come in" I said. It wasn't Hailey but in fact my friend Jonathan Knoels."Hey buddy" he said with a smile plopping down on my couch "How are you doing? I didn't know you were stopping by ''I chuckled. It was now 1:10 and I heard Hailey and Eve "Oh, Hailey I have to give you a tour of the building tomorrow. So come in early okay?" "Okay, but Bla- Mr. Satero already informed me" I almost smiled when she almost said my first name. Nobody called me by my first name in the office. I see Jonathan giving me a smug look "What?" "Nothing" he said with a smile, just as Hailey walked by my office to go to hers. We talked for sometime and then he left. I continued to work until Hailey brought me the documents. She knocks on the door and I immediately answer "come in" more calmly than I would've. She placed the files on my desk and for the first time all day I was looking at me, like staring. It was obvious that she got nervous because her face burned cherry red and none of us spoke. We just looked,I was admiring her beauty. My throat went dry. She shifted on her feet and broke the silence "Is there anything else I can do Mr.Satero?" "No, leave" I cleared my throat. She turned and walked out. I reviewed the documents that I had purposely messed up the night before and then after I was done, I went to the bathroom in my suite. It was 5:25 pm now and pitch black outside. I decided to stay back and put together some ideas on opening a new office and expanding the company. "Oh s**t! I forgot I had to do something" I said, talking to myself. Whenever I hire someone I always do a background check to see where they live, if they are financially stable, family background etc... I have to do it for Hailey now, and fortunately money can get you into a lot of databases and 'private information'. I did my search and found out she was broke. Like dead broke, she also didn't own a place. So where does she live? I'll figure that out. Her family background and everything else checked out. So after 8:30 pm I decided to head home, calling my driver. He came and picked me up and we left for home.

I got home and my chef had prepared steak and roasted potatoes. I took a shower and sat down to eat. I had some red wine. I finished eating and decided to do some browsing. I was bored and decide to see if Ms. Rose was on social media, she was on i********:. Well her page wasn't private so she's not hiding anything. There was just one picture up and it was from 2018. Aww she looked so cute in her swimsuit, and hot ?. My d**k started to get hard, I knew this was going to happen. Why does she have this effect on me. I closed the app and dragged my hand down my face.

I put my plate away, brushed my teeth and went to bed.

Oh Hailey what do you have planned for me
