I managed to get sleep last night but I am still heartbroken with the news of my Nonni's diagnosis but I felt better that I had sat with her yesterday and managed to talk to her.
Jacob was ready for school, he has had breakfast and he is looking all smart. I was ready too and looked at Lucas who was just drinking his last bit of coffee.
"Ready" I said looking at the time.
"Yep" Lucas said, placing the cup in the sink.
I look at Jacob and kiss his cheek "It's Friday buddy, the last day of the school week"
"Yes! I'm excited for that" he said back.
I give him a smile while I put everything he needs in his bag.
We get into the car and Lucas drives to the school. We all get out and we walk to the playground, I crouch down to Jacobs level and kiss him in his cheek.
