We got to Blue Bell in good time, I walked into Nonni's room and smiled to see her sitting up eating fruit.
"Oh hello love" she said, with a beaming smile.
I hugged into her "Hey Nonni"
I sat on the chair next to her and Lucas gave her a kiss on the cheek and stood leaning against the windowsill.
"Did you sleep well?" I asked.
"Well, yes and no" she answered.
"What was wrong?" I questioned.
"Kept thinking about this meeting today, I really don't believe it's necessary as I don't think I have it duck" she said, looking worried.
I held her hand "Look, no matter what..we will get through this together... ok".
She patted my hand with a small smile.
The door knocked and the nurse came in "Dr Shirley will be with you in 5 mins"
