"Mummy wake up, wake up!" Jacob shouted smiling as he bounced on me.
"I'm awake" I rolled over squinting my eyes as I had a big cuddle from him.
"Did you have a nice night with Nonni?" I asked.
"I did, we watched films and I watched a planet documentary" He said, very excitedly
"Amazing" I said as I sat up.
My head was a little fuzzy from the alcohol but I was smiling when I thought about all the things that Lucas said and our kiss.
Jacob ran down the stairs and started watching telly and I went to the kitchen where Nonni was already making breakfast.
I hugged her and sat at the table.
"I heard you come in early this morning so it must have been a good night?" she smiled.
"It started off horrific as I got chucked out of the club because a man would take no for an answer" I said
