Anon couldn’t help but feel somewhat at peace, being in Veron and the castle of Veron.
It felt like coming back home.
Veron had always been home to him.
It was a wonderful feeling that he never thought he would ever feel.
This was the place he had grown up. He had spent his childhood, teenage life, and as an adult.
This place had witnessed his sorrow, his joy, his struggles, his sweat, his blood, his love and everything.
So, a place like this that had always made him feel belonged and felt like a home, was a part of his life just as much as being a Knight meant.
This place meant a lot...
So, coming back to this made him feel at peace. Emptiness is ebbing away a little.
It was peaceful at the same time, mind numbingly sorrowful time for him to be in
