“It’s an assumption. Maybe you have a secret admirer or a…stalker.” Naoko said, wearing a nonchalant expression on her face as she stared intently at me. My eyes widened in surprise, and her words echoed in my head like a broken record. I stood firmly on my spot and kept my eyes on her, reading any signs on her face that would tell me if she knew something about me in the past.   Like me, Naoko came from Tokyo. So there was a great possibility that she knew about me and my past, or she had heard it somewhere from the local news in the city since my case had been locally broadcasted there for months. If that is the case, is that the reason why she approached me as soon as she saw me and tried to be friends with me even though she is new here? I thought to myself. But is that even possible
