Stay in The Dark.

“Hello, is someone there?” reeve said as the broke into the house address, they had given by the lady in the restaurant. The place as they walked in seemed empty and abandoned, more like a dump. It was dirty and webby, and had a weird smell like of a place that has been on a lockdown for years.

“What is this place? It’s like no one lives here. It is just an empty dump. Even your socks smell better, when you throw it for laundry after months.” Jim said sarcastically.

They were getting more and more into the house but all they were seeing was some furniture covered in dust and no one living was there except for some insects and themselves.

“what is the point of calling us, making us come so far and giving us the address without even showing up.” Reeve said frustrated. They drove there for thirty hours straight, they were of course tired, but know what this Jody mills seem more appealing to them then taking a break. Seeing the abandoned place, they were disappointed after all.

“Hello??? Is anyone here?” Jim spoke out this time.

“You’re here,” suddenly a female voice hit their ears, the voice was nearer than they expected as if someone was talking to them standing close.

Suddenly they turned to see a girl, maybe in her early twenties, standing there, in the dark corner of the room.

“You were in the restaurant, the one who passed us that slip. If you wanted our help so bad why didn’t you just ask us there, why did you call us here?” Jim said with anger in his voice.

“I know you probably don’t trust me, but I mean no harm to you and your brother. I just saw you helping others so I got curious to see if you will help me too or not.” They girl said in a low voice without moving an inch from her place.

“How do you even know about us? How did you have our number?” Jim asked again with a similar infuriated voice.

“I got it from an acquaintance.” Hearing her beating around the bush Jim again said,

“Why do you want us here?” he was very angry, he knew that they are walking in a trap, if was the creature that they hunt, she was the enemy and trusting in your enemy will not make them any smart. “why were you curious to see if we can help you or not?” he asked again.

“I saw you killing the demon.” She said, “at Rocky’s house, I saw you saving the him and his girlfriend and also how you killed that demon.” She added.

“wait, no one was there except us, how did you see us killing that black-eyed?” reeve asked her curious but also not too infuriated like his brother, he was rather calm.

“I can see, things and places sometimes.” She answered in again he low high-pitched voice.

“what do you mean things and places.” “you saw us in that house.” “how?”

“I have this ability I don’t know how but i knew someone was coming after me even before it happened, so I had to run away and stay in hiding.”

“so, you are like a psychic?”

“I don’t know if I am but I am scared of hurting others so I stay in dark, in this place. But when I saw you exorcising that demon and sending it back to hell, I thought maybe you can help me to cure, I want to live a normal life like I had before my parents died.”

“so, know who your parents were?”

“yes, but I know they were not my real parents, they adopted me from an orphanage. I don’t know my real parents, but I don’t care about that, they were my real parents.”

Since when do you get those visions?

“it has been so long, I don’t even remember when it all started. Maybe after my parents died, it has been years since then.”

“how did they died? People gossip about their suspious death in your town.”

“a demon killed them.”

“what?”

“one day when I was in a school trip when it all happened.”

“Mom, dad, where are you. You said well go to the park when I will be back from the trip. Mom, where are you?” I was in a trip to the forest for five days, it was my first time in life that I stayed away from my parents for this long. I didn’t think that I will miss them this much. I thought that when ill be back from the camp they will b very happy to see me, they promised me to take me to an amusement park when ill be back, but why are they not even coming out hearing my voice. Why is no one in the whole house.

“mom, dad?” I shout again but still no one answered.

Having no other choice, I went to their room to see what they were doing, not coming out. But I couldn’t even imaging what I was going to see in their room. Mom and dead were both hanged from the ceiling, long dead. Their eyes popped out for their socket, they must have struggled to survive before giving up their hope. I was devasted, I couldn’t understand what was going on. I couldn’t think of anyone who would have done that.

Seeing them hanging like this, I couldn’t think of what to do. my head started spinning and I fell on the floor unconscious.

When I woke up, I was in the hospital many machines poking into my body. I didn’t feel like opening my eyes, I was afraid of seeing the emptiness in the room. But suddenly I heard the doctors talking about me. they were saying something about me not being normal like any other patient. They also said tht they couldn’t find any pulse in my body, all the machines they had me on was to look into what is inside my body. I suddenly got scared, I just wanted to go back home, back to my normal life. I was desperated for them to shup up and leave my alone. I closed my eyes weeping.

After weeping for a long time as I opened my eyes I found myself back at my house, I was empty, not helpers were even there, for a while I though I was just dreaming and now I will find mom and dad in their room, but when I went there, they were not there. I looked through the whole house but fear of it all being real was haunting me.

I was in my room thinking of all that had happen, I was sad and angry. I wanted to find out the person who killed my parents. I was crying, the tears were not just from the frustration but also from the anger that filled in my heart. The thing that happened next was terrifying, when I opened my eyes, I found myself in strange house, it was small and empty. There was a man standing looking at me, his expressions were very unusual, it was like he was shocked and happy to see me. he pulled me by my hand, and suddenly I had a weird vision, I saw him killing my parents and hanging them to death.

I opened my eyes, his eyes were different this time, they were all black and scary but I didn’t feel scared, I was go angry that I just wanted to inflict the same pain he caused mom and dad to suffer. I don’t know what came into me but I threw him against the wall even without doing anything, I got so scared with what I was doing, first teleporting and now this. I was shaking with all those overwhelm.
