“Um… Jim, pick up your phone.” I said lethargically, lying on the bed, turning to my left shoulder, pulling the covers to my face to build a barrier between my eardrum and the noise.
“it’s your phone, not mine, shut it down…” I got his reply from the other bed. He was fussy and dazed, uh… such a horse.
“Robin McFall….” I said lazily, putting it in my ear.
“Charles, is that you?” a voice fell on my ear from the other side.
“Who are you?” I asked, throwing away the covers and sitting on my butt.
“is this Charles’ number?” he persisted.
“how do you know him?”
“he gave me this number the last we met to give a call whenever I need his help. Is he around? Tell him Steven Montague is on the phone.” The man said.
