On Penny Dreadful, It’s Not A Party Without Séance

It was eleven p.m., and we were in the car to the witch’s place, Margaret I mean. To her place which is just about five minutes away now.
“Have you ever watched anyone performing séance?” Jim asked me.
“never. But I know a few who did them.”
“will it work?”
“no, a hundred percent. They are not very optimistic about the possibility of summoning a helpful and friendly ghost.” I answered.
“I think it will work. Margaret seems to be experienced in it.” He seemed confident. “nothing will go wrong.” He assured me, but it seemed that he was assuring himself.
