Yara
My chest started to pound, and I can feel my legs shiver, I didn't think he had that effect on me anymore. Input my hands around my neck trying to stop myself from looking so awkward. why is it so hot here? I feel a sweat coming down my forehead, quickly wiped it off. I can't look nervous about d him. I don't want him picking up any hints. I went on to pack some toiletries in the bag, one after the other, as fast as I could. The faster I pack, the faster I leave this tent. I tried to keep my focus, and it was working. One after the other, and I was done packing up the sorted toiletries. I took a long deep breath, of relief this time. Finally finished with a portion.
I finally raised my head up, but not to look at him, this time, I was looking straight out of the tent, about 50 steps ahead, the kids’ tent. It looked so lively like I remember it to be. Reena was of course dancing with the kids and making sure they used up all of their energy, Aliana was also dancing too, in the arms of Zev, they look so happy over there. I let out a weak smile, and turned back to look around my tent, and my weak struggling smile, turned back to a frown. I'm happy my friends are happy in their tents, but I wished so much that I was there, with them and happy too. I have tried to make conversations in the tent, but it didn't seem to work. I guess not everyone want to have fun and work.
Yara’s pov end.
The food drive seems to be coming to its end. After trying so hard to bring her team together and eventually succeeding, Yara and her team had started their turn at the drive, by giving out gift packs that contained all kinds of toiletries, food products, some clothes and a lot other essentials. The tent started to feel more comfortable, and lively, Adnan had taken up a path of entertainment with a little bit of magic trucks for the kids when they arrived, Sara and Dalia were talking to some of the ladies about what skincare product goes where. Asad and Yara on the other side were casually handing out gifts. It seemed as though staying more than three hours on the same bench and handling the same work made the awkward air go away. They had gone from stealing glances at each other and hoping the other doesn't notice to actually looking at each other for a bit and smiling
