Accidental Murder

Furiously, Bruno brought out a gun, shot in the air ‘you think you smart eh? You will bring the documents And you will do it immediately. Boys bring the fish out’ he requested. Immediately his boys brought out Shantel’s mother pinned on a wooden board.. she looked scared but couldn’t speak.. ‘take a look at her’ he let out an evil smile ‘she’s scared’ he mocked ‘you have to save her don’t you think?? For every minute you delay the document, I will shot a limb’ he said with so much seriousness.. Arthur took out his phone and texted Alfred that he should get ready to come in. ‘Uhmm I don’t think I’ll be handing any documents to you Mr Bruno because there’s no documents to hand over, is there? Arthur asked..

Lucy called Shantel to inform her of the messy situation, immediately she told her everything, Shantel began panicking, scared and disappointed with Arthur for failing to keep his word. Just as she was about leaving the mansion, an unknown number called, informing that her mother has been shot dead and it’s all thanks to Arthur Alexander then he ended the call.

She was star-stroke by the news!!! It kept ringing in her head ‘Arthur Alexander’!!!! ‘Nooooooooooooooo!!! She screamed with her two hands over her face, tears running down her eyes, she fell on the fall and at that moment, there was Thunder and lightening then it started raining.. she was still on the fall lost in thought when Arthur’s car drove in. Immediately Arthur sighted her, he came down from the car and ran towards her, ‘what the hell are you doing here’ he yelled.. she turned to look at him with swollen eyes and vibrating lips ‘my mother.. .. she was able to utter before she lost unconsciousness..

Arthur carried her in, took her to the bedroom, took off her clothes, wore her a joggers and a hoodie, tucked her in ‘I will get Justice for you sweetheart’ he whispered while a tear fell from his eyes. He kissed her forehead, turned off the light and went to sleep.

The next morning, Shantel woke up to see herself in bed with a young lady by her side ‘how did I get in??? How did you get in?? Who are you??? She kept asking. ‘Good morning ma’m, I am Sydney your new assistant, Mr Ray just appointed me and asked that I take care of you’

‘Ray right!! Where is Ray?? She asked while coming down the bed. ‘Ray! Ray!!’ She kept calling as she left the bedroom. ‘Ma’m he’s out’ Sydney said while following her out.. ‘out?? Where has he gone to? When did he leave?? I need to see him! I need to speak to him!!! She said before collapsing on the sofa ‘my mom!! Then she started sobbing again..

Few hours later, Shantel got dressed, ready to get a few things from the antique store, Sydney took her bag and sunglasses then the headed out. They got a the store and on getting in, it was on the news that Arthur Alexander killed his Shantel Ricardo’s mother the same day he married Shantel Ricardo, although his picture was not shown but a very pitiful picture of Shantel in a white dress was on display. Onlookers kept murmuring and sighing when one young boy spotted Shantel and screamed ‘look the pitiful bride of Arthur has arrived’ pointing at Shantel. Immediately all eyes turned towards her direction. In panic and shock, Shantel ran back into the car while Sydney was trying to stop the crowd from getting towards the car, seeing that it was way beyond her capacity, she entered the car and they drove off.

‘So it even on the news? Shantel scornfully said ‘what a wonderful wedding’ she mocked..

They got back to the house and she went straight to the rooftop and yelled ‘Arthur Alexander you would never enjoy me as your wife!! You are married to me but Ray has my heart’. Ray was just about to enter the house when he heard her yell, he felt happy yet sad because she loved and hated him.
