Adna ventured out alone, avoiding the conflict for now. The moonlight bathed the forest in silver, illuminating her human form as she transformed, after ... well ... a long time.
Sitting next to a lake and putting her feet in, she took a look at her image on water. Though it was shaky and blury, she could see the flame of rage in her own eyes. Her black hair fell in waves around her, with the wind dancing in between it's curls.
She needed space. It was too much. She craved air, freedom—and perhaps, something more.
“You haven't ate yet, right?"
The voice startled her. She spun to find Ash, stepping out from the shadows, his human form tall and muscular, which made Adna attracted to him immedietly, with a sense of guilt. his hazel eyes locked onto hers, and his long brown hair, framing his sharp jaw line and cocky grin. The painting was completed with a small beard. Which made Adna both aroused and...
Feared.
His smile revealed his sharp teeth, revealing his identity as a werewolf.
NOT AGAIN...
“What are you, a nutritionist who works for free??” Adna asked coldly, though she was blushing.
Ash took a step closer, his movements confident, almost predatory. Sat next to her with a distance
“You’re wasting away in that pack. You’re more than some alpha’s luna”
Adna crossed her arms, her gaze unwavering. " for how long did you stalk me, may I ask?? ”
“I know what it’s like to be treated badly.” Ash said, his voice softening. “To feel trapped by your own kindness. No matter what you do, it's always your fault. They only see your flaws, not theirs. Although you gave it all to them...all of you..."
Adna swolloed her tears.
Embarrased of getting emotional in front of a stranger.
Ash, changed the subject wisely.
" You’re starving, aren't you?”
He brought out a knife out of his pocket, gazed at the lake with full focus, and suddenly stabbed the water.
He brought out a fish, pinned to his knife.
Handed it to Adna.
"You expect an applause for your magick trick??"
Adna mocked him, but could not resist the urge to eat the fish.
" Did you groom your beard with that knife? "
Adna said, understanding it was an awkward joke.
Ash couldn't resist the laugh.
" Well, correct...I washed it, by the way... "
"Eww."
Said Adna, trying to digest the raw stinky meat of that fish.
Living as a wolf for a long time made her used to eating raw meat.
She was starved to death, so she ate the fish with gratitude.
Looked back at him.
Took away his knife, reading his name, carved on it's handle.
"Ash....do you burn everything you touch??"
She said.
"Um, hot people do, I guess??"
Ash said, mimicing her sarcastic tone.
They both laughed.
A few moments passed in slinece.
"I know my condition is pittiful..."
She mocked herself, too.
"It was not pitty."
Whispered Ash.
"Then what was it?? Empathy??"
Ash moved closer to her.
"Hmm...love at the first sight??"
Adna stared at him bluntly.
"You are bluffing."
Ash, pinning his gaze to hers, said
"They made you think you are unlovable, right??"
Adna could not resist her tears anymore.
Ash, kissing her tears on her face, made her feel putting her burden down.
He was respecting her pain.
He looked into her eyes.
"Give me the chance to satisfy the hunger in those eyes...then, you will know..."
Adna could not look away.
He leaned his forehead to hers
" ...You will know....that you deserve better.... and I deserve YOU"
Adna could not resist anymore. Craving his lips on hers, she pleeded by her eyes.
Ash pulled back a little.
"Do you give me the permission?"
For a moment, Adna said nothing.
It was odd...yet...sweet.
Roo never asked for permission. But this guy, asking for permission....reminded ber she owns herself, her body, her destiny. Then, all the guilt and shame went away.
She got close to him.
" Do me as your wish. "
Unexpectedly,
He kissed her forehead, not lips.
"when it's uncomfortable for you, just let me know. Ok??"
She felt a warmth in her chest.
She felt seen...cared for...sought after...
He moved his hands on her body, so cautiously. Like he is carrying a piece of jewelry.
Ash put one gentle kiss on her cheek, closely looking to her respond.
He pulled her long hair away, revealing the nape of her neck.
As his stubble touched her neck, she let herself fall to her back in his arms.
He noticed this....
"Did you actually liked the little beard?"
Said Ash, rubbing his stubble to her skin, as kissing the back of her neck.
"I do..."
Adna said, out of breath.
"Now we have a good girl here who does not argue."
Said Ash, gave her countless more kisses on the very same spot, making her saturated.
"You know they done wrong to you, right??"
Kiss.
"You know that you are beautiful and powerful..."
Kiss.
" The most rare combination, that should be cherished, not misstreated..."
Kiss.
" There is no shame in what you did...be proud of yourself... "
Kiss.
" mind of a woman, mood of a little girl....my.little.girl..."
Kiss, much more smoochier this time.
Hearing this ignitted a volcano in her heart, and between her legs.
She grabbed his neck, and said
"Shut up and kiss my lips."
Ash closed the small gap between their faces, and he calmly gave her a long lasting kiss on the lips.
It was a loud symphony of sounds.
Adna moaned in his mouth, making him kiss her even harder.
The damn thoughts came back to her head, not letting her enjoy that moment at all.
From here on, Adna only knew one thing very well:
If this thing ...
Was leaked to her pack...
Any of them....
They were f****d .
PERIOD.
No matter what it's god damn name was:What do they call it, again??
Friendship? Situationship?? Almost relationship??
What is even happening???
I should leave before they get suspicious and come look for me.
AND FIND THIS...
SHIP...
She caught herself drowning into her thoughts, chewing Ash's bottom lip carelessly, like a gum.
He starred at her, not knowing why she was spacing out.
As she suddenly got up from her place and transformed, she only said one thing.
"I gotta go."
Ash got up.
"You ok??"
He said, worrying maybe he did something wrong.
"Meet me tomorrow, this time, this place."
SaidAdna, running back to the forest.
When she joined the pack, she noticed the absence of her oldest daughter, Miya, immedietly.
She joined them in a very short time, from the same direction Adna entered...
This made Adna feel bad a little, but she'd rather focus on her new...
Well...
Friend-ship.
Yeah.
Lets call it that for now.
